A Day at the Beach

Yesterday we spent the day at the beach, and now I feel like summer has officially started. We had some beach outfits to photograph, and we decided to make a day of it. The girls had a blast playing in the sand, and I enjoyed watching them be in such good spirits all day and snapping photos from my blanket.

We had a little adventure in the middle of the afternoon with rescuing a large horseshoe crab that was trapped in the rocks. We did manage to get our beach modeling photos done, and I even took one for my photography group's monthly contest. I'll have to share that after the voting it over :)
